The Faculty of Science and Sport at the University of Technology, Jamaica, in conjunction
with Calyx Consulting Co. Ltd., announces its 2012 series of horticulture
courses.

These courses provide participants with sufficient knowledge and skills to correctly
identify horticultural plants; to determine the most suitable plants for a
range of conditions; to propagate plants by seeds and/or cuttings; to install and
maintain plants in a landscape; and to confidently identify and manage pests
and diseases.

Who Should Attend?

• Persons working in horticulture who wish to upgrade their skills;
• Persons who wish to start a business in horticulture;
• Homeowners, potential homeowners or others with an interest in horticulture.
• Those working in garden centres, farm stores who wish to improve advice to
customers.
